Liquid Gold's difference is its low-pH formula of 2.8-3.0. But why does the pH matter?

You might be used to looking at the concentration (%) of Glycolic Acid in a product, but that’s only part of the story. Glycolic Acid needs to be in its most active form to penetrate the skin’s oily outer surface (the stratum corneum).

The lower the pH, the more active the Glycolic Acid and the more effectively it can penetrate the skin.

How to Use:
After cleansing in the evening, ensure skin is completely dry. Saturate a cotton pad with Liquid Gold or dispense a small amount into the palms, then sweep or press over the face, neck and décolletage, avoiding the eye and lip areas. Leave the formula on the skin and allow it to absorb fully. If desired, once skin is touch-dry, follow with a face oil or light moisturiser.

Frequency:
Use on alternate evenings, up to three times a week, as part of your night-time routine.

Application Technique:
Apply in smooth, even strokes with a cotton pad, or press gently into the skin with your hands. Do not rinse off. Avoid layering multiple exfoliating acids in the same routine and allow the product to work on its own for best cosmetic results.

Best Practices:
Apply only to clean, dry skin. Start slowly if you’re new to acid exfoliants or have sensitive skin, and build up frequency over time. Always use a broad-spectrum sunscreen during the day when incorporating exfoliating treatments into your routine.
