Joico Defy Damage Protective Shield 100ml

Joico Defy Damage Protective Shield is a leave-in protective treatment designed to support hair that’s regularly styled with heat or exposed to the elements. The lightweight formula helps to defend against the cosmetic effects of daily styling, UV exposure and pollution, so hair looks smoother, glossier and more resilient. Used before blow-drying or heat styling, it works to reduce the appearance of dryness and helps to maintain the look of vibrant, salon-fresh color.

Enriched with Joico’s SmartRelease Technology, along with moringa seed oil, rosehip oil, arginine and keratin, this product helps to strengthen the feel of the hair fibre while adding softness and shine. Ideal for all hair types, especially color-treated or frequently styled hair, it fits easily into any routine as the final step before styling. Applied to clean, damp hair, it leaves strands feeling conditioned, more manageable and ready for a smooth, polished finish.

How to Use:
Start with freshly washed, towel-dried hair. Apply a small amount of Joico Defy Damage Protective Shield to clean, damp hair. Distribute evenly from mid-lengths to ends. Comb through to ensure even coverage, then blow-dry and style as usual.

Frequency:
Use as needed whenever styling the hair, particularly before heat styling.

Application Technique:
Work the product between your hands, then smooth it through the hair, focusing on the more fragile mid-lengths and ends. Comb or brush through to spread the formula evenly before using a hairdryer or heated tools.

Best Practices:
Apply to damp hair for best distribution. Use before blow-drying or other heat styling to help protect the look of the hair. Adjust the amount used according to hair length and thickness, and avoid applying too close to the roots if hair is easily weighed down.

Safety Tips:
For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes; if contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water. Discontinue use if irritation occurs and keep out of reach of children. Follow any additional guidance on the product packaging.
