Description

Parfums de Marly revives the spirit of lavish receptions and celebrations held in the Château de Marly, for the delight of members of the Royal Court and foreign dignitaries. Through its original concept, Parfums de Marly rekindles the spirit of fragrances from the splendour of the 18th Century, when the finest perfumes were created for King Louis XV, as a tribute to the prestigious horse races he admired.

Meliora belongs to the great thoroughbred English ancestors. The significant top notes are raspberries and blackcurrants. The heart notes are fresh Rose, Lily and Ylang. The strong base note is a combination of Woods, Musk and Vanilla.

My favourite summer scent🥰

First Parfum de Marly perfume I’ve purchased, but based on this, it won’t be my last. Stunning bottle, gorgeous summery, fruity but sophisticated scent that has had a number of compliments and lasts a reasonable time on the skin (6+ hours) and even better, a great price! Great delivery and service from Allbeauty.

I tested this scent prior to buying a full bottle - a matter of waiting for AllBeauty to come up with the best deals :)
It is a perfect summer scent; fresh, floral, quite soft and balanced. It does not have the best projection, as it sits quite close to my skin; longevity is moderate, 6 hours max before I need to top it up. I actually prefer this than Delina from PdM.
The price is a tad too much, even with discount, for what it is. As this is not unique nor does it have the best performance.
